Rare date with PL Qualities! NGC MS67+ (NGC PLUS STAR). In our extensive studies of the unusual, Polished PL finish seen between 1934 and 1955, only a small handful of coins are known after 1950. This stunning, borderline-PL dime is one of them.

Heavy clashing was largely removed through extensive filing and polishing of the fields, leaving rich mirrors surrounding frosty devices. A few interesting lumps and bumps show along Roosevelt's profile that were not removed during refurbishment.

A touch of frost has worked its way into the fields in places around the peripheries, preventing this blatantly PL piece from actually making the PL designation.
