Roll of 1962 Truly Original 90% BU Silver Roosevelt Dimes Uncirculated Deeply Rainbow Toned End of roll coins. The paper rolls are shown as evidence of where the 3 tubed rolls originated from only. The end of the roll coins are all deep, dark shades of dark purplish/blue and hints and hues of magenta and gold. The 48 coins in the middle are all blast white and lustrous. The edges of the coins are toned gold and dark blue/purple from the 70 years of storage in the paper rolls. Picture #3 shows the 3 tubed rolls and one of the torn paper wraps from the original rolls the coins were originally stored in before the paper roll torn too much to the point of being usable. Deep dark rainbow toning on most of the edges and all coins in each roll are consistent with having been assembled decades ago as one since the early 1960s. When held and tilted in the light, the varying rainbow-colored hues come out.

They are dark and deeply toned from 60+ years of storage in these old paper rolls. Pictures show a total of 18 rolls that were part of the original hoard acquired - all are 1962 (Philly).

The other 15 paper rolls are all very brittle, many have torn and ripped. One is literally being held. Together with rubber band elastics. Some have large holes in the roll. The 3 rolls for sale here are in modern Whitman tubes as the paper rolls ripped to the point they couldn't be salvaged.
